The PEM stack is able to operate more than
80,000 hours or
10 years, whichever comes first, based on continuous full-load operation. Depending on the business case and the commercial calculations the stacks can be replaced at any time. The process part as well as the entire PEM electrolysis system ((System and BOP) is designed for typical industrial lifetimes
> 25 years.
